The "Before You Turn 30" Bucket List

A friend of mine (who is much more clever than I am) shared a long bucket list on her blog recently.

While I'm not really interested in the copy and paste part of the game, I will tell you that I currently have 86 checked off my bucket list. But below the fold, I want to focus on the items that make the best story and/or made me think the most.
04. Taken a sports car (Porsche, Lambo, Ferrari, etc.) for a test drive
I drove Carmen de Lavallade's Jaguar. It's true that I only drove it out of the theater's over filled parking lot and down the street to park, but I drove it.
15. Gone to a huge sports game
43. Danced with a stranger in a foreign country
A lot of the items on this bucket list demand a lot of travel. How about just danced with a stranger? What's the value of visiting 50 states- just to be a tourist? I spent a year living in Scranton, PA, and I think I was just scratching the surface of what made that town interesting and exciting. To Carol's horror, I still fondly remember my time there. More importantly, I can honestly say I've lived several places (the Northeast, the South and, now, the Mid-Atlantic).
81. Gone White Water Rafting
Planning Rafting Trip #2 right now.
113. Broken a bone
Really? This is on someone's "Things To Do Before I Turn 30" list? If there's one thing I did in the last 5 years I'd want back, it would be climbing on that rock wall.
134. Read The Iliad and The Odyssey
I have not read The Iliad. I read The Odyssey on my own a few years ago. While there is plenty to say about these, two of the oldest and most referenced pieces of story telling available to the canon, I can think of 100 books I would consider must read before I wrote down either of these. As a matter of fact, that post is in the queue, so if you're lucky, you'll see it by the weekend.
137. Skipped all your school reunions
I haven't had my 10 year high school reunion yet. I haven't decided to skip it. I also haven't decided to go. Why is skipping reunion an "important" thing to do?
As someone whose job now includes convincing people to come to their college reunion, I know first hand how much fun people have once they decide to show up.
